Looking to Purchase a 2007 Or 2008 MDX

My question is how do these cars run with high milage? Thinking of getting one with just under 15000. Is there anything I should look for or check before purchasing Minor or Major?

Guessing you mean under 150K, not 15K. We had an 07 and loved it. We did get the torque converter replaced twice under warranty and that was the only major thing. We did have the driver's side rear door lock actuator fail as well as the HFL and had a noisy pulley replaced. We traded it with about 86K on the odometer but loved it.
Make sure it has been serviced and be aware that they can be thirsty.

I don't know the answer to your question yet, but I am going to find out. Just purchased a 2008 with 150k miles on it myself - took possession yesterday. I am hoping for the best!

we have had one since 2010 - bought with 65K and it now has 106K - just had the timing belt service done and it's like a new lease on life - this thing just hums, my wife loves it and I love it

No other major services - just warranty stuff - great cars that will treat you well in return

it's like a couch on wheels

Problems with these at those miles:

Oil pump leaks
Torque converter
Valve adjustment
Power steering pump
A/C compressor
HFL unit draw
Front swaybar end-links
Front wheel bearings
Door lock actuators
Rear fusebox
Mirror actuators
Axles or CV boots
HID igniter/control unit

How bad is the Gas Mileage? On the truck I am going to trade in I get 13 city / 18 Highway. Will I get better MPG with the 2007 MDX?

On our MDX, we got around 16-18 around town and 21-23 on the highway. Best we ever got was 24 on the highway. MDX is a heavy SUV @ roughly 4500 lbs. A lot will depend on how heavy your right foot is and your highway speed.

Yeah I'm about to purchase an 08 with 160k for a really good price. The car fax says it been serviced at the dealership a little skeptical but will decide if I'm pulling the trigger in the am. Getting it for less than 10k
