Location of engine coolant temperature sensor

I have a 2008 MDX. My A/C is blowing hot air and I noticed the 2 fans next to the radiator are not turning on at all. Fuses and relay checked out fine. I was able to jumper the power and the fans runs from the fuse/relay box. I suspect either the freon is low or engine coolant temp sensor are bad.

I understand there is an engine coolant temp sensor under the radiator. Is there a second one elsewhere under the hood?

Thanks in advanced for any feedback.

There is a 2 wire temp sensor on top of the aluminum coolant inlet outlet pipe on the driver side of the motor. Although, if the dash temp gauge works, chances are there is nothing wrong with the temp sensor. No fans and no compressor engagement with ac set to on is a symptom of either low refrigerant or bad pressure switch.

Thank you. The dash board temperature is moving and moves up to about the middle point and stabilize there. So I assume that sensor is working fine.

Low refrigerant is the next thing I am looking at. I will also investigate the pressure switch. Thanks again.
