Limp Mode no Codes!

HELP!!!!!

We changed the head gasket on my 04 MDX with about 115k. It drove fine for about a week then all of a sudden, limp mode. I turned it off for a couple of minute, it worked fine to get me where I was going. The next day start up cold - ok. Driving home from work (30 minute drive) 20 minutes in limp again. It's not throwing any codes. I tried to reset the ECU. the battery is charged. I am checking to see if the timing slipped, but that's after that I'm stuck!

PLEASE HELP!

Just to be sure, when it goes in limp mode, is it staying in low gear and not allowing you go over 2.5-3k RPM?

Yes. I can feather the throttle and it will change gear.

limp mode won't allow you to change gear, it'll hold you in first and won't allow you above a certain rpm. You have something else going on. Best case, throttle body side, worst case, timing being pulled. Check the connections to the throttle body and app sensor, if everything looks good, take it back to the shop who changed your head gaskets and let them fix it, at their expense.
