I just picked up a 2002 MDX Touring with Navi, and wanted to see if you guys thought i got a decent deal.

Silver, 72,000 miles. Meticulous Service records as well. Transmission was serviced a little while ago. I have been reading there are known issues on the 2002 models. I forget what service was done, but i believe it had something to do with re-programming it or something along those lines. Also, the front coil springs were replaced in 2006.

I got it for 12,900. Do you guys think this was a reasonable deal? I was looking and this was the lowest mileage MDX i found. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to know if there is anything else i should be aware of? Thanks guys.

Enjoy we have 180,540 miles on ours, did a tranny job 148,000 $3000 grand but worth it love it. buying new Michelin energy mxv4 plus soon getting 16 mph now but on old Michelin got 18mph Have general grabbers on now ok but not the same enjoy!

 

That's super low miles for the year (under 8k/yr). Were these old folks who went no where...lol? 1st thing id do while it's still on sale ($99 plus shipping) is navi update dvd. I can bet it's time for it. Welcome to the site.

 

The Navi Def needs updated as the graphics looks like Atari!! haha. I have been on this site for a few years. I have a 2004 Acura TL 6MT w/Navi as well. Thanks for the input guys!

 

Graphics wont change much but man I bet they'll be a billion updates to be had by changing the disc. Sale for 99 bux is good until Jan 31st, 2011. At least your navi can be hacked to add more things like realtime mpg's and other things like bypassing the ok button after every boot-up. I'll check on youtube. Newer navi (07+) don't offer much to hack by comparison.
