J-Pipe + HFPC = Better performance?

Got rv6 j pipe installed on my 2012 MDX and love lower end torque. Question is if any of you guys have installed HFPC?
Is it worth it?
How big is the improvement in torque and acceleration?
Was told that is double in comparison with J-pipe.

When you find out let us know! I have an ATLP j-pipe and I'm loving it. I was thinking of getting the RV6 HFPC also, but afraid if I will throw any codes. Why don't you contact RV6 and ask them for hp numbers for the HFPC alone and also with the combo with the j-pipe?

it sounds kinda stock, only at WOT it sound deeper and at idle when engine is cold you can tell the difference.
I know with HFPC it will be louder, but i don't care about the sound, as long as i don't hear any rasp.
All i want is some extra torque.

duh, it will bring performance!

you're going from a high cell count cat to maybe a 200-300 cell count cat.
my 06 TL had a 900 cell cat from the factory.

richie also makes the pipe bigger with better bends than the stock cat.
so, couple that with the jpipe, you're going to gain EVEN more.

No the hfpc will change how the engine behaves. It will accelerate faster but die out in the top end. U will think its slower. Now for evrryday driving u wont notice it there. It wont smell but will sound agressive. Something about the secondary o2 will make it think its running wrong. So malfuction leads to no power. I use to own a pair, the part works but inconsistently because of changing variables in ecu

so you say it will accelerate faster, but o2 sensor will send wrong signal to ecu and then there will be no power? NO power but better acceleration? Or is it one day it goes fast, another day it goes slow?
On what car you had HFPC?

I could be wrong for Hondas but on other cars the secondary O2 only monitors if the cat is working or not, the primary O2 affects fueling. Trick the secondary one into thinking it's a stock cat and you'll have no issues. I won't comment on performance since I haven't done this mod but typically increasing exhaust flow will move the powerband up so the car may feel slower on the low end even if its making more power at the top.

it "feels" faster low RPMS, especially with RV6 j pipe.
HFPC helps to produce more power in power hi-rpms

I can't speak for the j-pipe but as for the HFCs, kingkong was very accurate in the changes it made for the most part. Definitely more internal resonance that can be heard at a cold idle during the enrichment phase and also during mid range/top end you can hear that same resonance. As for torque or power improvements, I'm not going to say that there weren't any but nothing added that was noticeable. Imo, Honda does a great job in leaving power on the table and I just don't see them designing a power robbing catalyst in their later models. An exhaust is considered a SYSTEM and when one change is made, you can throw off its designed purpose. That being said, that single change should never be made alone. So until I've seen all of Richies exhaust components installed and working together as a SYSTEM, it's hard to accurately define a single product.

Great quality and looks. Pricing is appropriate to the market on most of his products. Good to see someone that actively stimulates our slim market with quality products. And for that, I commend him.
