I have 2009 MDX, active damper system switch bulb in not working.please let me know how to replace

The dealer replaced the bulb in my 09. From what the shop foreman said, it entailed taking the center console out in order to get to the bulb. A lot of time for a simple bulb. Good luck and if you do the swap out please do a write up.

 

Btw the bulb on my 12 is 10X brighter than the replacement bulb on my 09.

 

When mine went out, my son just screwed a 3" drywall screw into the middle of it and yanked it out. Unplugged it and plugged the new one in. Then he just snapped the new one back into place on the console. Total time to change the switch was about 90 seconds. You need to take nothing apart. Just grab the screw and pull it out. Plug new one in and snap back into place.
If I remember right, the switch was about $20.

 

Anybody have an idea, how to take middle console out to reach bulb?

 

The bulb is in the switch. Just yank the switch out and replace with a new switch. Takes less than 2 minutes from start to finish. You do not have to remove anything to change the switch.
