HFL hangs up

Hello everybody,
Wondering if someone could help to figure out the following problem on my 08 mdx - from time to time HFL after starting the car do not respond for about 5 min (no beeps or anything while pressing/depressing both buttons). After that period HFL "unfrozes" and working well except that insteed of talk button I'm using back button w/same functionality . Wondering if that's just poor/missed/misplaced contacts or the software? We don't have an official Acura dealership here therefore your input apprecisted.
Thanx.

you could go to a honda dealer and ask them, i think the accord (tsx) has the same system

it probably needs to be reset

Certain phones if malfunctioning can control the HFL in a weird way, try and pair another phone and see what it does. If it's still doing the same thing then the Handsfreelink control unit is malfunctioning. It tyupically is the only thing that goes bad in the system. It should only take a few seconds for the control unit to boot up and not minutes.
