Help....any 2007 MDX owners with Battery Problems
Hello,
I recently purchased a preowned certified 2007 MDX, all went well for a short time and now I am experiencing an overnight battery drain that requires the car to be jump started. I moved closer to work and since I only drive 3 miles per day, they are telling me it is normal for the car to have this problem, does that seem crazy to anyone else or is this normal for an acura? Any help would be appreciated, it is in the shop again for the second time in less than a month with the same problem, the first time they found a "drain" from something that was coming on when the car was off....now, they cannot tell me what is causing it again.
Thank you !

You need to find a new shop to take it to. This is not normal and the car has an open circuit somewhere. Take it to another Acura dealer to have it looked at. It really shouldn't be that hard to find.

HFL/bluetooth drain happened in my MDX. It took 2 trips to the dealership for them to find the drain on the HFL.
If the battery is good, the distance you are driving has nothing to do with your battery going dead. I know because I drive about the same distance to work in my MDX and have no battery issues other than when the HFL was malfunctioning.

More than likely the HFL as others have said.
