Heated seat light out

Did anyone replace heated seat light on 2007+ MDX? (not the led, but the light that is on when the console lights are on). Is it difficult? Any pictures?

I have a 2008 MDX (36K miles) and my passenger side seat heater back light has gone out. The amber light works for Hi and Lo positions. I took it to the dealer today and he said that it is normal wear so it is not covered under warranty. They quote me $200+ to remove console and replace the bulb(s). Apparently, there is more than one behind the switch.

Any instructions to remove and replace will be appreciated.

I replaced the seat light on my 04 and it was pretty easy. You need to take the center console out to access the switch. Unplug the switch and bring it to your acura parts dept and they should be able to give you the correct replacement bulb. I don't have an 07, but to take apart mine all I had to do is pull up on the cup holders (and remove) and then pull up on the wood for the center console. It is more difficult for the 07+ but to get to that switch you have to take the center console apart.

Did any one try this on 07+ mdx yet? The only videos/pictures I could find was from the RL, but the RL looks significantly easier.

On the MDX, looks like I'll have to pull apart not only the center console, but also the trim also additional trim, as the center console is stuck underneath the storage compartment and underneath the trim from the dash?

Would appreciate some help if anyone has done this on 07+ MDX.

I'm assuming none of you took apart the front console on the MDX?

In case anyone needs this, I followed the guide linked below. This is a 20 minute job. I just recommend getting a good led flashlight.
