I did Osram D2S Xenarc 66240CBI HIDs 5500k-6000k in my 11 MDX back in 2014. They have been a very good upgrade over OEM with a brighter and wider beam. I was able to install the new bulbs without removing the bumper (removing the battery gave me a little more room on the driver's side).

Amazone, $95:

A side issue I had with my OEM HIDs was they were aimed too low from the factory was another reason why they didn't illuminate down the road as well. Corrected the aim once I installed the new HIDs.

Be VERY wary of buying bulbs from Amazon, they're have been numerous reported cases of counterfeit Osram bulbs being sold there. You have been warned

Actually I didn't have good experience with this exact bulb on my 2011, while it looks cooler, the visibility is really bad during rains and partially lit roads.

I still have them but am able to drive because of Fogs. The OEMs were slightly better as they were a little yellower than this one.

We only get 7-10 inches of rain/snow all year in ABQ, NM. The OSRAMs are brighter than OEMs and that helps illuminate the road and signs further down the road. The brighter light also helps with wildlife because I can see them sooner and further out. It might come down to driving conditions for the OP. OSRAM do make HIDs replacements in the 4300k-4500k color range similar to OEM HIDs (OSRAM Night breakers I think).
