Harmon Kardon iPod Adaptor

I have an 05 MDX. I bought a Harman Kardon IPOD adapter which looks like it has rca plugs. Does anyone know if the acura factory head unit has the aux plugs for ipod adapter?

No it does not. I have an 05 MDX with Nav (non RES) There are a few different systems out there- Dension has a lot of cool items. Take a look at their website... or if you just want to hook up RCA's you can use the Blitzsafe module.

just do your research- google it even-

I am installing the Blitzsafe because I have a Blackberry Storm that I have all my iTunes music on (my wife and kids have the iPods) all the Blitzsafe unit does is all you to access the "AUX" portion of the radio and provides a set of MALE rca jacks.

Below is a link to the Blitzsafe unit

(make sure of what radio unit you have- Acura uses a few different versions of the radio within the same model year MDX)

Hope this points you in the right direction.

*keep in mind- certain products will disable the use of your Sat. Radio.

if you havnt instaled it yet i suggest you return it, i had one in my civic and its by far the worst ipod adapter ever. the idea is great but the thing just doesnt work, it never charged my ipod and it would freeze up EVERY SINGLE time i used it.

i had them send me another one and it was the same thing, sometimes it would take 60 sec to switch to the next song. i would be sick of waiting and pop a CD in. the thing is trash i wouldnt put and holes in your dash or mount anything its just going to become a decoration.
