Gracenote help

I have a 2010 MDX. I followed the grace note update instructions, but it didn't work. My question is this. when I went to check the current version in HDD setup it said "------" so I downloaded the update to usb and connected it. The system updated and then i put in a new disc and it didn't find any of them. They are all official releases. And the version still says "----"

Any thoughts?
