First off. It's damn nerve wrecking drilling hole in to your car
. Anyways, This for anyone who wants to install their own spoiler. Don't try looking for the metric drill bits. It is just impossible to find. I know cause I tried Autozone/RS, Homedepot, Sears and then some and no one seems to carry
. So here is an advise. All you need is the following bits.
1/8 = use in place of 3MM (Starter hole bit)
5/16 = use in place of 8MM bit
13/32 = use in place of 10MM bit.
I didn't bother with the instructions saying use a 6MM bit to enlarge hole. Once I had the starter hole. Went straight to final size. Just use these standard bits and follow the instructions and your all set.

Good to know, I've been wanting to install the spoiler but don't feel like coughing up the money for a body shop or a dealership to do it, but scared of drilling holes into the car. I'll keep this in mind if i ever do try it.
My '04 needed something when I looked at it sideways. I had the dealer install it though. Not cheap around $400 but I liked the new look right away. I added the two wind gaurds hood and slider as well.
I honestly don't remember how the '09 got the spoiler. It is weird. It might have come on the car but the roof rails and cross struts cost around $450 so they got me both cars. And again I had to add the two wind deflectors also.
Good for you Man. You should like it. Let me know if your back window seems to get dusty now. LOL
I just clean the window daily and love the look...

It's easy and straight forward. Like you I was a little iffy about drilling but Acura made the install of these things so damn easy. Just make sure you get the center punch tool and no worries on accidental slips when drilling the starter hole.
