I have a 2008 Acura MDX with a stuck drivers side door. It is stuck closed and will not open from the outside or the inside. The metal rod that connects the actuator and the door handle together is completely broken off. I can hear it locking and unlocking. When I pull the handle on the inside, I can hear something moving around the latch area. Not sure what to do. I attempted to take off the panel, but apparently the panel gets sandwiched in between the door and the car when its closed making it impossible to remove the lower panel. I thought about trying to pry the top of the door panel off the door, but I am worried about damaging. Do you think that would work without major damage? I've uploaded some pictures of the door lock actuator trying to get ideas. I appreciate the suggestions.
