Hello everyone, Im about to go and test drive an 08 MDX Technology package With 140k for $7000.
And i would like to ask for your help to know what to look for or check regular mechanical issues on this MDX.
I knowledge in car in a scale from 1 to 10, i would say 4.
I would appreciate any help.

Try to speak to it and see if it recognizes anything you say. Mine just says "Please Repeat" no matter what I say and I have read the same complaint from several others.

Some people think it means the microphone is broken. Others think it means a fuse burned out. I just key the info myself and forgo the voice.

 

A good test is to try the "HELP" command. If it fails to recognize that, pass on it or try to negotiate a big price drop.

 

2008 and 2009 are very good years, followed by 2007.
Who have you called about professionally inspecting the MDX?
You should google search "acura repair in (your city here)".
Call a shop that works on imports and ask them to inspect the MDX, before you sign anything.
It will cost around $75 and they know what to look for, what to listen for, and what shouldn't wiggle.
As far as the electronic blue tooth, nav, and stereo...ask the salesman how to use them.
