2007 MDX - Brake pedal hard to push, feels like loss of power assist.
Feels somewhat normal if pushed when cruising but becomes hard when coming to a stop.
I read something about vacuum, any suggestion on what to look for before going to a mechanic?

first check the brake fluid level under the hood, under the windshield area in the brake fluid container. It should be between Max and Min and it should be a clearish tan color. Any orange or green is sign of moisture/rust in the system and the fluid needs to be replaced.
