Twice this week my battery was empty upon starting in the morning, required a jump from the TL. Hmmm, that's weird because my battery is less than a year old and still under warranty.

To the dealer we go… full inspection, recharge, etc. ALL SET.

Ok go home no problems for 3 days. My wife drives this car so it doesn't get driven everyday… It sat for a whole day. I go to drive my daughter to school in it just to make sure it's all good, boom, dead battery again.

WTF

Back to the dealer, again. Turns out it was the damn bluetooth module which will cost 375$ to replace. It would turn on and off by itself and just drain the battery. I said screw it, we don't need that crap anyway.

I had noticed it wouldn't connect to my phone at times and other times it would. seemed strange but didn't bother me as I don't drive it that often. Anyway…

I think it affects other models from Acura as well and isn't limited to just the TL and MDX. Though from reading, if you're having trouble pairing your phone that's usually a telltale sign that the HFL is going out.
