Lightbulb Backup Sensors for MDX'07

Hello people,
Wanted to know if somebody has installed backup sensors on their 2007 MDX?
Just want to get a sense of how easy/difficult is to do self install? Also whether it works effectively?

Thanks in advance

wouldnt attempt it unles you have a real good do it your selfer knowledge. keep in mind you are cutting holes into your bumper, so too small will give you a slight crease around the bumper and sensor surface. too big and well its a no brainer.
then wiring and screwing your beeper on to the (drivers side) panel. yes the panel has to come off as well as the third row drivers side seat. wiring is all plug and play and a couple of fuses and your set.

I guess you are right... got hold of the backup sensor install guide and just the first step of removing the complete back bumper made me change my mind...

Don't let the bumper intimidate you, taking off the bumper is actually the hardest part, if you're installing the oem sensor then you'll have to run the wires like eg5 said, you can always go with some aftermarket sensors (a lot cheaper than oem, work just as good in my opinion), and just tap in to your reserve light, and leave the speaker in the trunk or under the 3rd row, real simple install. Take your time drilling the holes, measure your sensor, sometime the installation guide doesn't give you the proper measurements.

It's not easy to install, i think it is worth the +-$200 for the dealer to do it. Here is a video of a installation on a crv to give you an idea...
