Back to Acura!

Hey guys, its been a LONG time! Since I left the forum, I went from a 2000 3.2TL --> 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe --> 2007 BMW X5 3.0si --> NOW a 2010 Acura MDX black on taupe.

So far, love it! Yes it has its pro's con's against my previous X5, and its a huge change to go from a BMW to an Acura, but I am not dissappointed at all!

Now to some small mods- wanted to change some of the bulbs, specifically the daytime running lights and the fog lights (both next to eachother). Does anyone know the bulb sizes to replace them? another bulb I wanted to replace was the license plate bulbs. Secondly, wanted to add running boards- what do you recommend, the advanced running boards or the sport?

Hey Silver Ice, welcome back. But tell me about the G-35 coupe you had. I would really like to put a G37 Sport coupe 6-spd. in my garage next to the MDX. I know it's basically a 2-seater with bench in the back to toss stuff onto. But in my case don't need more than the front seats since my kids are now out of the house. Did you like it? Any problems? I understand the VQ 3.5 is smoother than the VQ 3.7 due to NVH from the enlarged block. Thanks

Larso- the G35 was great. No problems, sweet exhaust sound, and very fast. The only issue I had was a rattling sound coming from the rear seat panel. Nobody could figure out what it was, and the rattling would come in the 3rd gear at low RPM only. Weird right? Othe than that it was a great coupe to enjoy driving.

DRL's are 9005's, Fogs are H11's, Rear license plate lights are Style 184. I bought mine on ebay. Word of caution, if you chose LED's for the DRL's it will most likely trigger a DRL warning on the dash unless you buy a module.

Thanks Guys!

Wilsel- I bought the bulbs, and replaced them already. Look decent. Im thinking I may want to change the Fogs again to HID's (I replaced them with 6000k superwhites and they still look stock to me, barely any difference).

I just orderd the step rails from Tim on the forum, so waiting on those!
