My last MDX was a 05. I saw a lot of people were replacing their donuts with full size spares. Anyone doing the same with a the 07+? I have a set of 2008 OEM 18s with good tires (for 33k miles that is). I'm trying to decide whether I should split up the set and sell one wheel/tire. I don't want to be stuck with a hard to sell 3.

Well just remember, if you are offering anything to sell on this site it would have to go through the Black Market. I;ve been thinking about getting a full size spare wheel/tire for my 04, just seems a heck of a lot more reasonable with the AWD and all.

You're right, in an AWD system, having all tires match is ideal. All my past SUVs had full size spares underneath. I posted an ad already for the full set, but I've had several people contact me regarding buying just one wheel/tire.

Here is a photo of one of the wheels. Trouble is, they seem too clean to break up the set (cleaner than most 07-08s I've seen!), especially if someone wants a winter set of four:

Yub, full size spare is great idea for such large vehicle as the MDX. I have the same full size spare with tpms for my 2010 MDX too.

BTW. I did sell these for those asking. I ended up selling as a set. Thanks for the advice though.
