2G Navigation Drive Replacement
Hello MDX section,
Got a question in regards to the navigation dvd drive on these cars. The one on my Mom's '07 MDX has crapped out and doesn't proceed past the opening Acura Navigation screen so I'm looking into a used replacement hard drive from either ebay or a scrap yard.
Question: is there any difference between the US market version versus the Canadian market? The car in question is a Canadian car and just wondering if the US market drive will be compatible as they are a lot easier to come across than a Canadian one.

The drives should work the same! Also alpine refurbishes the DVD-drives for around $400 vs buying a used one that could fail again.
