Hi,

I have a 2011 MDX Adv. I recently noticed that at night the "fan" icon on the "on/off" climate/temperature control button and the person" icon on the "Mode" buttom do not light up at night like the rest of the "white" buttons on the panel.
Is that by design? If not, I guess I have to replace the bulbs behind the panel

In this picture it looks like all button including the "person" icon seem to be lit.

If this is a 2011, is it still under warranty ? Hope you might be able to get them replaced at a dealer if so.

 

I doubt its as easy as a bulb change since there is most likely LEDS of some sort behind there. I have to remember to check mine to see if they are both lit. I feel like they are.

 

Checked my dash tonight and all were lit.

I checked my dash last night and yes those two do not light up either, so I'm guessing they probably are not meant to light up at night. If you cycle through the mode button you see the figure displayed with the various arrows pointing to where the fans will hit.

The "ON" button will show you the fan indicator on the display as well so this leads me to believe that they are not supposed to be lit at night.

 

I stand corrected. The symbols are not visible but the words are. Kinda weird that the whole thing wouldnt be lit up.
