2011/2012 MDX with Advance Pkg

Hi, I am thinking about upgrading my 06 MDX with either an 11 or 12 MDX with Advance Package. I have been quoted a price of 47,900 for 2011 MDX Advance (excluding taxes and fees).

First, Is this a good price? What did you pay for yours?

Second, Is the advanced package worth the extra $$?

Thanks in advance for your help.

$47.9 for an '11 this time of year is high.

go check out truecar.com

its a neat little tool, but then it gives you an idea of pricing.

edit: just realized it won't let you put in options.

pretty much find out how much invoice is. get as close to it as possible. also, once you've figure that out...then decide how much you are willing to pay for the car.

is the advanced pkg worth it? depends if that's what you want. the adjustable suspnsion and the seat coolers...that would be a nice option to have. i know there are a few other things with the advanced pkg (wheels and safety goodies), but it really comes down to if that is what you want. it also means more toys/parts that have potential to break. the shocks on the advance/sport pkg...not cheap.

Truecar.com does allow you to put in options. The target price for a 2011 Advance in Fairfax, VA is $50714. Invoice is $49324 and dealer cost is $47747 so $47900 sounds like a great deal to me.

$49.2 for a '12 MDX Advance is a go do it price and move at this time.
My '11 MDX Advance was also $48.8 at 12-2010.
Note - Dec. is Acura Special Event and there is a $500 Gift Card.
Often people do not take in deprecation into time of year calucations {$10 - $13 K for this model at ear end}.
IFF you buy new or even loaner used at end of year you should get a pretty good discount else you are better w new at a sharp price.
Use Edmunds True Cost of Ownership to know your depreciation with options - model you desire. CARS depreciate and thats the big $$$.
Good Luck ... either way you go ...
They are great SUV's and ahead of competion like BMW, MB, InFinity, Audi in both Cost of Ownership and Drive-ability.

I believe the Advance package is well worth it if you're already into the car. The amenities provided with the Advance package are really nice and will spoil you quickly!

As for the price, it seems pretty good to me, but I know there are those here who will tell you they paid less, so perhaps you can negotiate a bit harder?
