I purchased a 2010 Acura Advance in Feb with the Blind Spot Warning System. The system failed at the end of April, I had only about 2500 miles on the MDX at that time. It took 3 weeks to get a replacement "radar" and the system worked for approximately 2 weeks before it would randomly work one time after starting up, and next time it might error out right after starting up.

I have scheduled a service call again, but was curious if anyone else had any issues. It’s a GREAT FEATURE when it works and I'm a little frustrated at this point of owning my fourth Acura, this one having issues.

 

It appears the left Radar unit has failed again, another is to be here today to be installed. We'll see if it fixes it for good

 

Damn, that's terrible. Good luck on the replacement, hopefully they figure it out and fixes it.

 

So far so good. 2nd Left Radar unit installed and its working. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

 

thanks for the headsup about the system my MDX had the rear camera stay in normal postion and it was a handsfree unit replaced to correct the problem.

 

My '09 does not have that system but the way I drift into adjoining lanes I bet I will be giving my '11 MDX a heck of a workout on the left and right sides...
