2009 MDX multiple warnings
Hello, I have been having some issues with my 2009 Acura MDX, I was driving and the car felt slightly weaker, I pulled over, turn the car off and back on. After I did this the car would not start again, and multiple lights in the dashboard came on. The lights included "CHECK SH-AWD", "Check TPMS SYSTEM", "CHECK AIRBAG SYSTEM" and "CHECK VSA SYSTEM". I tried to turn the car on with my other key, I recharged the battery (which is about 4 months old), I left the battery off for few hours and put it back in and I also checked the transparent fuses in the fuse-box at the front and they all looked fine. I tried plugin in a code reader and the reader kept displaying "Connection error", after this I used a better diagnostic tool from the shop where my friend works and that one gave me codes but it kept disconnecting. The car does have a lot of miles, but unfortunately that's all i could afford as my a family member sold it to me. All help is greatly appreciated and thank you.

The issue I've had with my 11 MDX, 08 RDX, and 06 TSX with X-mas light warning on dash were:
- parasitic power draw draining the battery. Hard to track down; but, bluetooth module was the main issue for the 07-09 MDXs
- weak battery or dead/dying cell in battery. Usually OEM battery had this issue and replaced with interstate for full warranty usage. Once you kill a lead acid battery, it doesn't seem to bounce back 100% not matter how new.
- weak and slowly dying alternator. The alternator didn't put out enough volts to run the vehicle and recharge the battery. Vehicle would slowly steal power from battery until it was too weak to power the vehicle (X-mas lights and jerking/bucking before it dies). A 100% charged battery can get you back on the road to reach a repair shop instead of calling a tow.
I haven't experienced any issues with bad ground, ECU issues, wiring harness, or starter issues (so far); but, that can also be an issue for the electrical problems. I would also check the three fuse boxes in the engine area (two near the P/S reservoir and one next to the battery) to make sure there isn't corrosion.
