Hello,I recently had my 2009 MDX Engine replaced. I went to pick it up yesterday from the local mechanic. After I start it up the first warning light that displays is "Check Engine oil" along with the red oil icon. then "Check Airbag System" displays. when I put the car in drive and drive it. The "Check VSA System" along with the VSA icon displays. Also, "Check SH-AWD System along with the SH-AWD icon displays. The horn and the controls/buttons on the steering wheel control(volume...etc) are also not working. It seems to me something is not connected. I am taking it back to the shop today, but the mechanic thinks it is an electrical issue and not caused by the work he performed. I did not have any of these warning lights before the engine was replaced. The engine was replaced due to the engine intake manifold exploding after starting the car up on below 0 weather which caused a backfire then explosion.

Have you verified that the correct engine has been installed and all relevant engine harness connections are intact?
It is odd that the local mechanic would release the vehicle as mechanically finished with such irregularities occuring.

To my knowledge it is. I gave the seller my VIN # and they stated the engine was compatible with my car.
