2008 MDX turns off and back on while driving

2008 MDX turns off and back on while driving very intermittently (not recreatable).. I have a 2008 MDX Entertainment, Navigation and Power Lift Gate with about 98K. This has happened to me four times now. First three times happened while driving at a constant highway speed. To best describe this, while driving, shut off the ignition and turn it back on again very quickly, one time. That describes it perfectly except that no feeling of the engine shutting off is experienced. Dash idiot lights come on and go off, chime is heard and my Navigation resets as if I just started the truck but it now requires me to enter the unlock code to begin using it again. First 3 times no engine noise or stutter felt or heard. Seemed as though the issue affected only the cabin dash lights and Navigation. Last time it happened I was traveling down my street at about 30 MPH when it happened but this time it was shutting down and turning the engine back on along with the dash lights and Navi. Was a violent and jerking experience. Truck never stalled out completely, just felt like someone turned off and turned back on the ignition key for about 4 times in maybe 2 or 3 seconds in rapid succession while under slight acceleration. Transmission was clunking as well as the vehicle lunging the times it turned off and on. I have a 400 mile drive tomorrow so I am not only seeking advice as to what I may have to replace to repair this issue, but suggestions as to what I may be able to do to get back under way should this happen while on the road tomorrow disabling the vehicle during my trip. Any and all suggestions are helpful especially if that are received before my Monday 7/1/2019 trip. I know this sounds like a faulty ignition switch but I also know that it could be caused by something else, like a relay or some main power source getting lost. Thank you all in advance.

PS. This just happened while in my driveway: Parked in driveway, opened both front windows all the way, opened rear tailgate using door switch, shut off engine, removed key and keyfob, closed D/S front door, opened and left 2 rear doors open. Loaded furniture in the back of the truck which took about 30 minutes while leaving all previously opened doors n windows open. Went to close tailgate with keyfob, NG, went to close tailgate with door button, NG, closed tailgate manually then full control resumed from both the keyfob and the door switch. Rolled up D/S window, OK, could not roll up P/S window from drivers door but could from passenger door and then full control resumed and was able to operate all windows from drivers side. Could not lock/unlock doors from drivers door and neither seat/steering wheel memory position responded until after I re-memorized the positions. Door locks began to work as well. Could somebody provide me with a link to the applicable wiring diagrams so I can troubleshoot this issue. Once I find the common denominator, I will be able to fix this highly intermittent problem.

Loose battery terminals on your MDX or corrosion on the wires leading from the battery to alternator/ground. I had something very similar happen with my MDX and turns out the neg post had worked itself loose and would loose contacts over bumps. Your alternator could also be on the fritz causing the issue, if it's failing it could be causing all sorts of electrical issues.

As far as your locks issue, the door harness breaks in MDX's all the time. About $40 and 1hr to fix!

Thank you csmeance. I may have narrowed it down to the second cable coming off the + battery terminal/cable which goes to the under hood fuse/relay box right next to the battery. I loosened the positive battery cable and moved it counterclockwise to put a different strain on that cable. Made my 300+ mile drive today with absolutely no issues. I'll take a close look at that cable, connector and fuse box during this week. Thanks for the heads up!!!
