I just bought my 98 2.2 CL about a month ago I love it to death but it just started turning off on me while driving??!!When it shuts off the ani theft light {green}in the upper right corner comes on I really dont know WTF is going on,sometimes the car will turn right on and sometimes it will take upto 30+ min to get it started Does anyone wassup with this issue or what to try to get to the bottom of this please help...

 

try tightenin ur battery cables. if they are loose when they get that current they can sometimes jump and come off. it happend on my old car , they werent tight enough so the car turned off while i was rollin

 

hey i have a 98 2.3 CL and i think u have the same problem that i did, if so go to the nearest acura dealership and tell them to look up the recalls on ur car and there should be an ignition switch one and they will be able to fix it for free. yeah happened to my car, confused the shit out of me but mine also didnt turn off sometimes... so be glad u dont have that problem, i would pull out the key and it would still be on. lol yeah fucking weird. andyways it sounds like its the ignition switch so take a look and let me know.
