2008 MDX power mirror/windows/tailgate issue

All suddenly several issues showed up on my MDX 2008 together:

1. Tailgate lock failed, I open it 2-3 times, but normally it failed;
2. Driving position memory system totally cannot work, no green light;
3. Sunroof cannot open, similar with tailgate lock occasionally opened just one time;
4. Right side power windows cannot open either from the driver controls or passengers (only the right rear one can be controlled by the passenger). No any reaction to the push from driver, can hear some struggling sound if trying to close the windows by passenger(not by driver), no reaction to open push.
5. Right side powered mirror cannot move at all;

It believed that all of those issues should have some common root cause; otherwise the opportunity should be very little they showed up together. Any body any ideas about this?

Thanks!

I would have guessed fuse but odd it sometimes works. Still, I would check them, especially if these functions are controlled by one. Has to be related to each other

Someone else had a similar problem with various electrical items not working or working incorrectly. He found the problem to be with an electrical harness or connector which runs through the driver's door into the left front fender.

He only found it after taking it to a dealer. Once the connector was replaced and all the wire connections were tight, he had no more problems.

I'm not sure which MDX forum he posted on but you might find his posts by doing a search. If I get time later, I'll also see if I can find his posts.

Here's a link to the post I recall with some of your problems. Read the whole post because there were several ideas suggested. Post #19 is where he took it to the dealer and it was a connector in the driver's door.

memory seating is usually linked to the power mirrors. if the mirror actuators start to go bad then the memory seating (along with the steering wheel telescoping) start to act up.

as far as all of the issues cropping up at once...it may very well be that connector in the link provided since it's all driver's side door related.

That's one reason I suggested he also read the entire post. The mirrors were mentioned as being a possible source for some of the problems.
