Has anyone experienced this issue? Our 2008 with 27k miles has had intermittent "whining" from the engine area that is audible while we drive at lower speeds, or at idle. It sounds like medium-pitched vacuum cleaner.

I'm gonna call the local Acura dealer today, but I'm sure I'll just get a "bring it in" answer.

 

I get the same thing on my 07 MDX but not all the time. I'd be interested to find out what the dealership has to say. It'd cost like $80 for them just to look at it.

 

It should be covered under warranty. My mdx is at the dealership now, and they're trying to change a part. if i find out what's going on i'll let you know. thanks for your post.

 

TC Whine? Pretty common on the first gen's.
