2007 MDX starting issue
When I turn the ignition the vehicle cranks for some time and then starts. Some time I noticed check Starting System light but goes away quickly (can't reproduce this). There is no light or any indicator to take it to diagnostics.
How do I troubleshoot the issue before taking to the repair shop?

MDX has a system where once you turn the key, the car will keep auto cranking until startup. No need to hold the key. It's detecting it's taking too long to start and it could be a few things:
1. Bad battery connection (dirty terminals) or a battery going bad
2. Fuel pressure issue

Cables are rotting from the inside, Replace the cables and you should be good... Its a common issue on the ground wire in the MDX since it only uses one it causes havoc on the car, Positive cable can be affected too.
Yep. I cut some of the cable, and put a new +terminal on good2go starts every time. Some one did a shitty soldering job on the old wires and it came a loose on the other + cable but running fine since 12/25. Thanks
