2007 MDX sport shocks
Has anyone here replace the shocks on their MDX sport? I know it's expensive and just wondering if it's worth it or to get rid of the car?

If it is worth it is a very personal thing. Depends how much you bought it for, how much mileage it has, how much it would cost you to repair vs selling while still broken. There was a thread where someone changed out the sport shocks for normal shocks, that is another viable option.

I bought the parts and resistors to swap out my mdx 2007 sports eds shocks to regular ones.
I have not done it, yet.
I have 77,500 on the truck and see some seepage from both rear shocks and a some (speed bump) clunking on the front right shock.
I changed my front sway-bar rubber (24mm) bushings and my front end links, hoping that the noise would go away. It still clunks, going over speed bumps.
On a side note...
I'm wanting to install shorter springs, while I'm making the swap, but I'm not confident that the H&R 2011-2016 Odyssey #51816 sport springs ($275 at Tirerack) will fit, my 2007.
There is a DIY for the 2005-2007 H&R Odyssey #51815 sport springs, for my 2007, but someone else that tried it says that one end of each spring is a correct fit and other end does not fit correctly.
Yet another DIY says that the 2000-2004 H&R Odyssey #51810 sport springs require the rear upper mount to be cut and modified, on the 2007.
In your searching, if you find anything new, post it.

Tough call... I only have 85,000 miles and only 2 years left to pay, I've only had it 2 years. Not sure if there's a guarantee on how long they can last as I heard they can go out at any time. My mechanic says you can replace with regular shocks but will constantly get a warning message on the dash. Of course, it's an excuse to get a newer MDX....

If you don't do all 4 at once, you will get the dashboard warning.
If you do just the rears, with the rear resistors and never put it into Sport mode, the dashboard light will remain off.
2 ohm in the rear (on each side) and 5 ohm in the front (on each side).
Here are the part numbers:

didn't want to deal with the shocks and the '10 has the features I wanted in the first place. I loved my '07, but I just wanted something a little newer. I'm ultimately paying about the same price.
