I recently installed a new battery in my 2007 MDX. Navi and radio were reset. Navi code worked like a charm. Radio code keeps getting refused. Checked the radio serial number just to make sure I have the right codes and the codes are correct. Anyone else experience this before?

 

How did you check the radio serial? did you removed it from the center console???
My crazy suggestion would be that the radio was replaced from the infamous CD getting stuck but since you compared the radio serial then I am lost.

 

undo the battery, wait 5 minutes put it back on, and then try again.

 

Actually, that's a really good suggestion. I'm not the original owner and I think the original owner did have the CD getting stuck problem previously... I was using the serial printed on a piece of paper that came with the car but that could be for his "old" radio. Is there an easier way for me to check the radio serial without removing from the center console?
