2007 MDX 'Mystery' Vibration

I have a 2007 MDX (Tech & Ent model) and currently has close to 90k on it. The problem is that I get this 'mysterious' vibration that is felt especially on the floor board when accelerating. The vibration is not always consistent as there are days I drive the car without any such vibrations.

Dealer has replaced stock tires, changed wheel bearings on the fronts, road-force balance the tires and the problem still exist. I remeber the dealer saying there is something shaking within the car but can't figure out what is!

I am hoping somebody in this audience has experienced this issue and possible fix. Thank you all.

I had vibrations under my MDX once and it turned out to be the AC evap lines running into the middle console. They were loose and were touching the heat shield.

Issolating vibrations is always hard in any car or tuck.
Get someone else to drive and use Stethoscope to determine
where it comes from.
Use Woman's panty shields {clean} to issolate and reduce noise.

is the vibration ONLY while accelerating? If yes, have the dealer look at the lower control arm bushings and as well look at the compliance bushings for rips/tears/excessive movement.

Monocacy, your PM box is full, according to the system.

I was going to mention it sounds like you're on the right track with the wheel/tire/wheel bearing and control arm bushings. With 90k miles on your truck, I would take a real good look at the front struts themselves (for leaking) and also the upper strut mounts (for cracks in the isolators.)

I would also consider looking at your motor mounts, if one is compromised, it can allow other items attached to the eng./trans to move into places that it normally wouldn't be able to travel. (ie., the exhaust manifold or catalytic converter could be alowed to strike a heat shield, or the sway bar, or the floor, etc.)

Did that guy above really post about panty shields?

If this vibration occurs between 35 and 40mph...with little to no throttle, almost coasting, it sounds like a typical vibration felt when a bad torque converter is acting up. It feels like a shudder coming from the driver side of the floorboard...where the trans is. Sometimes u can hear and feel it
