Question 2006 MDX Squealing - Passenger Side

Hello All....
I am by no means an advanced diy'er...but have been trying to learn stuff lately. I was unemployed a while ago and thus every dollar counts and the car must run....I did learn how to do brakes and rotors...successfully I might add.

Anyhow, it has been cold in NJ for the past few weeks and the MDX has started squealing from the passenger side under the hood. I opened the hood and visually inspected the serpentine belt...seems fine to me. I did the spray bottle test and when sprayed at any one location, the sound goes away for about 30 seconds to a minute..... I did lookup some videos on how to replace the serpentine belt...which I will eventually do -- with a dayco belt from Autozone... just waiting for some warmth so I can work in there without my finger tips falling off.

Any clues on the squealing?

Also - anyone know of a good deal near Hillsborough, NJ for timing belt replacement....the 2006 MDX has about 78000 miles on it and we have a 2007 TL which is at about 95000 miles.... Both need timing belts and serpentine belts replaced - I am guessing...

Thanks in advance.

it might be either the belt or the tensioner itself.
the tensioner is able to be pushed towards the rear of the vehicle so that the belt can be easily taken off.

then you can either replace the belt; or replace the tensioner and the belt.

try honda dealers for the timing belt service.
its cheaper.
