I need help finding the knock sensor on a 2004 MDX. I've removed the intake manifold from the instructions I've found at here http://www.justanswer.com/uploads/ac...ake_remove.pdf

My question is, I've got the intake manifold removed, but I still don't see the knock sensor. Can someone please provide a picture of where it is & what else needs to be removed in order to get to it?

good luck with that sensor... i have replace countless of those and let me tell you... its a pain in the butt

 

 

Why are you changing 'countless' of these??
I've never heard of a piezo-electric sensor failing unless it's damaged. As this sensor generates its own electric signal, and it's pretty well protected from environmental damage???

I've worked for an Acura Dealer for 10 years now, and we've changed as many as I could count on 1 hand...

...just curious...
