2004 Acura MDX

I want to make sure this is correct. the torque for the oil plug is 29 Lbs, is that correct? I thought the last time I ask a mechanic at the Acura dealer he told me 31 which is correct??

Yes 31lb is correct but do not go that far... You will 9 out of 10 times strip the oil plug threads on the oil pan if you continue to torque it that high..
Go for 25-26lb with a new washer and call it a day.
