any one else have this problem?

bought it like this froma buick dealer who said if i take it to an acura dealer, theyll pay for it to be fixed. probelm is that the acura dealer is an hour from me. and . i . work....

also, how do i pair bluetooth.

i think im figuring out that this bluetooth doesnt play music though.

any guidance would rock.

 

If you don't have any sound coming from your speakers, your entire head unit may need to be replaced, which is $$$$. If the Buick dealer is going to cover the cost, then it is worth taking a day off work and making the drive. Your Bluetooth may not be working because the HFL (Hands Free Link) module was probably disconnected because it was draining the battery (a well-known issue for this year). I believe a new module is about $200. Perhaps they will cover this too. Probably not after they see how much a new head unit (worst case) is going to cost.

I have to drop iff car tomorrow. They double checked with the buick dealer. Once again the guy brushed it off and told the Acura rep to do what he needs to do. So far both dealers are sounding good. Tho i see how it might turn bad if its too expensive. The acura rep said he will still give the buick rep a quote before actually starting.
I too hope i dont get swindled. I looked at other mdx. And prices for the year and package havent even come close. Really feel like it was a great buy.

 

Is replacing radio with an after market unit possible? The set up looks so different.
