Well, technically, you basically only spend the money once, spend a lot...get the right set that others will want. Sell em and keep on doing that. Throw a few hundred at it here and there to get better and better wheels etc.

J...you guys are keeping the tire mounting places in business!

did I?
thanks Jay...
to be honest, man...I'm SUPER picky about wheels...and I've had moments where I think...wish they were a different color or wish they had a lip or wish they were bigger, or smaller etc...but I just don't give in and luckily...I always end up in a place where I LOVE them again.

Always wondered what cv3's would look like on a wdp. Very clean !!!! A-spec kit would set it off very nicely

LOVE those wheels

I suggest: A-Spec body kit.
Type-S tail lights and rear side markers.

Was always wondering what the cv3's looked like on the TL ... I see them on tons of g37s

I think you need a lil lower and it will look proper

WHEELS ARE SICK! Maybe that is what bothers me...Just seems to be ALL WHEEL! Maybe u r right murph... some joining of the body and wheels would be more eye candy. I can imagine those on a G35...OMG! But as it stand on a TL with no kit and stock height, looks like a toy model or matchbox of some sort....IMO which is not worth much.

Yea car needs a lil more modifications to pull those rims off properly. Not sure how I feel about them still but I think with a lil more work they could be good

They work well on the 8th Gen accord...not so much on the TL although, with a coilover crop (read above, he is on h&r springs) and aspec to make the bottom of the car look more substantial, it might work. I think the CCSVC2's work better actually. No offense to the poster, of course.

Shit Murph...I FORGOT you were the TSW Willow guy last year...that wheel was one of my potentials rims last year and I remember seeing it on your car and digging it.

I completely agree that the car needs the Aspec kit. And I'd like the front to be a tad lower. But, I'm happy with the rear drop.

Taillights and side markers....maybe. But, those aren't very high on my priority list.

Since I posted these, I also had a Type S spoiler installed. haven't taken any pictures of it. But, seen one, seem 'em all. Just the lip spoiler thing.

Awesome wheels

No BBK on your car, must be an automatic.

OK so this is my first post on this site. And of course I'm a noob so I have a question: I just picked up an '06 TL Base with low miles but the previous owner must have thought you needed to drive as close to the curb as possible at all times so the rims are thrashed. The tires are brand new Pilot Sport A/S pluses so I figured I would just get a new set of rims. My question is are these the right specs I should be looking for: 17x8 +45 5x114.3.

Damn it i want these BAD! this is the exact finish i want on my set of rims but there aren't too many "Hyper black chrome" or "super finish black chrome" rims out there that look good IMO, you say these rub without a drop? that would mean suicide for me then since i'm dropped about 2.25" on my teins

ha ha...wasn't trying to be a dk, just thought it was funny. Back in 96, I was a junior in high school...I distinctly remember there being this accord that would cruise the grove that had 18's. And everyone knew it as the accord with 18's...because they were so rare. Now, it's a standard sized oem rim!
