are the nuts on the 2007/08 TPMS sensors for a TL unique to those years.... I have a second set of sensors that didn't come with the retaining nuts that hold the stems to the wheel, and I cannot find anything at the dealer.. everything they have is to small in diameter.


where can I find these replacement nuts? new? used?


anyone have a part #?

tpms only came on 06-08. So yes I think it is unique to those years. You may have to buy a new sensor as a package or go to salvage yard or call a local tire store to see if they have any extra parts.

i ran into an issue with that trying to mount sensors onto some new wheels, the sensors were used OEM, but the nuts that were screwed down on the valve stem to tighten them down were also used so the crush washer was alreay compressed...this was my first experience with this, so i didn't know that the OEM nuts had that built in crush-washer...so as you tighten it down it will bite the last couple of threads, compress and make for a better seal...i ended up going to Discount Tire and told the guy my problem, and he knew exactly what I needed, and sold me 4 tpms rebuild kits, so I have new valve stems, the nut, and the cap...so i would check at Discount Tire, i'm not sure the nut will be sold separately - you could check at auto parts stores too
