Brake Brackets Help.

Hi i bought some drilled and slotted Rotors and pads from Ebay they suppose to fit my 05 TL but both front rotors and pad its a little bigger (SMH) rears fit well. The mechanic told me to to buy a bigger size brake Brackets if i want to install those Rotors. What ya think should i do ? or should i buy the bigger size brackets? witch one should i buy ?

Return whatever you bought, and buy quality OE parts from a good brake manufacturer that will be spec'd to fit the same as OEM components.

you might have gotten the type S/6mt base rotors instead, they are 12.2" compared to the base 11.8"

Do you have an AT or MT?

Here's the rotor specs:
A/T 11.4" diameter 1.1" thickness
M/T 12.2" diameter .98" thickness

The correct rotors for your car.

Otherwise search for the Brembo swap. You won't like what you find.

Just a correction, it should be 11.8" rotor for the base AT

Installing quality components that are proper fitment is vital. Definitely look into our XLR8 brake packages for Acurazine:

Or if you're looking for just front rotors and pads, you can't go wrong with Stoptech rotors and street performance pads. Both are available and in stock on our website.
