Most people here would DIY or buy a C-Mod grill.

Mugen doesn't make parts for the TL.
(it's not like a civic, or rsx, or s2000,etc)

C-mod is the only company that make a grill for the 3G TL. Or you can just cut out the bar and fill in the hole like some members did.

Instead of spending another +$200 on a poorly fitting grille, do this:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/e-073-diy-custom-grill-mod-cutting-adding-grill-mesh-lots-pics-748647/

I plan on doing it in spring.

+2 on the DIY.
The only open-grille I like from C-Mod is for the TL-S. And that's because it doesn't look chunky.
IMO, C-Mod needs to re-evaluate their design so the base grilles aren't so chunky looking either. But props to them for having it as an option to purchase in the first place.

I am baffled that people like the open grill look. I really am...

and no offense intended, obviously.

^^^ Not sure what the attraction is for me. I just know that I like it-maybe it's because it's so unique and you don't see them that often.

...I had a funny sarcastic retort Steven, but since you're a mod, older and always help me out with updating my thread, I think I'll keep my mouth shut.

I must be maturing.

Hmmm, you know what...I just reread that DIY mmade made and you're right, it does actually look pretty cool. I guess I normally see it without the Acura logo and I DON'T like that.

I'm with you here. I do NOT like it without the Acura logo in the center, but with the Acura logo it looks hot!

I'm planning on this for a winter project too. I'm going to use something like this instead of bondo.

This is another good resource for plastic bumper fillers:
