Reiter Engineering: Strada (based on Lamborghini Gallardo) news **'10 Info (page 1)**

Turning road cars into race cars and then back into road cars seems to be Reiter Engineering's new specialty. The factory-supported Lamborghini race team, which also recently built a street-legal variant of their Murcielago R-GT that competes in the FIA GT1 and European Le Mans Series, is now offering a road version of their Gallardo GT3 racecar. Based off the standard Gallardo with the 5.0L V10, the "Strada" features carbon fiber bodywork including fenders that have been widened 60mm, a new front fascia with "shark" style air ducts, side skirts and a large carbon fiber wing at the rear. A single large center-mounted exhaust system reduces weight by nine kg and added an extra ten horsepower, while new three-piece alloy wheels are wrapped with ultra sticky Michelin Pilot Sport 2 rubber. The interior stays relatively stock, although the stock seats have been replaced with leather-covered racing units. While we wouldn't say the result is subtle, it's definitely one of the cleaner designs we've seen

The main objective of the REITER Strada concept is to bring the technology, experience and know-how from many years of motorsport activity to the street. A typical Lamborghini, in itself a work of art, nevertheless leave a few areas for optimization.

The REITER Murciélago Strada is designed in the style of its aggressive looking brother the race REITER Murciélago R-GT, which is a reason why the REITER Murciélago Strada is still one of the fastest 15 cars to lap the Hockenheimring. In the process of this benchmark test staged by the specialist magazine "sport auto" it also leaves current Lamborghini brand models, such as the LP560-4 or Superleggera, in its wake. The Strada derivatives will also benefit from the current development work on the REITER Gallardo GT3 Evo-kit.

The undoubted spectacular appearance of the REITER Murciélago Strada is more than emphasized by the sound of our exhaust system.

Front splitter, rear diffusor and an aluminum flat bottom collectively form the refined aerodynamic configuration. The application of original Alcantara leather in the cockpit for the in-house designed sports bucket seats lends the car more than a touch of sporting elegance.

2010 Reiter Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo Strada

Derived from the fastest one-make series in the world called Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, the SUPER TROFEO STRADA is a street legal version for road use.

The LP560-4 Super Trofeo is charaterized by a distinctive outline. The front bumper with sideflaps and combined splitter, as well as the rear bumper and diffusor are made of carbon fiber. The carbon fiber rear wing fits to the overall design perfectly.

The race-suspension will be delivered in a pre-setting. This configuration has been defined by our race engineers and pro-driver Peter Kox in tests on race tracks.

The comfortable race-like seats are manufactured in original Alcantara leather and fit perfectly to the overall interior design. The seats are available in different sizes.

In case of emergency you can rely on the FIA-certified fire extinguisher. The same system is used in our race cars and can be covered in carbon fiber. optional. The release button can be positioned decently.

For increased security this roll cage protects you in case of emergency or crash. It is derived from our race cars. and is adapeted to meet the day-life. The bars can be covered in original Alcantara leather optional to fit to Lamborghini's interior design perfectly.
