If this is happening, you need to position your foot a little lower on the pedal and adjust your seat accordingly.

I wear 12s and don't have this problem. Move your seat a little lower and farther back. Also as a note, if you find your foot cramping when braking, your seat is too far forward. Figured that out the other day myself while sitting in traffic.

Raise your seating position so that your knee is more bent, and rest your heel further from the pedals.

Adjust the steering wheel height and reach, too, until you feel comfy with the seating position.

seems to be somewhat opposing advice ... i would say just play around with the seat til you feel comfortable

I wear a size 13 and never had this issue. Have you looked to see if anything is hanging down that's not supposed to? I've even worn steel toe boots with no issues.

I'm 5'8 or so in bare feet, w/size 9 shoes.

My seat is moved closer to the dash by about two inches (seat edge lines up nearest "P" on shifter indicator); seat height is set about half-way up at the front and slightly below half-height at the back.

AFAIK, my torso-extremity ratio is normal.

+1 check to make sure the panel underneath is in the correct position.

From: is everything.
Sometimes the nipple that goes into the slot on the firewall is not where it belongs, causes the panel to sag close to the firewall and get kicked. Rookie mistake when re-installing it.

How the heck are you peeps sitting??

I rest my right elbow on the center armrest if my right hand is not the steering wheel.
If I pull the armrest to its forward position, I can actually rest my right elbow on it while holding the steering wheel with my right hand!

Only my elbow can rest, and if the armrest is forward, I can rest more of my arm heheh.

LOL. And to think, I used to think it was bad when people asked for a DIY for oil changes in the old days on here.
