How the heck do you remove stuck spark plug boots (rubber seals)?
I am having a heck of a time removing the black rubber spark plug boots (seals). There seems to be a steel ring inside the rubber part of the boot that I cannot get out of the valve cover to replace them. How do you get them out?

I answered my own question. I'll post pics in a second.
Pic 1: The old, nasty, stinkin' spark plug seals (rubber boots). I tried pliers to yank them out, but they were stuck in there pretty good.
Pic 2: Closeup of the nastiness.
Pic 3: What I finally used to get the seals off. I used a small flathead screwdriver and inserted it between the aluminum valve cover and the rubber boot. I then gently tapped the screwdriver until I felt resistance. I then wiggled the screwdriver around a little. I did this about 10 places all around each seal to break the seal from the aluminum.
Pic 4: Closeup of where I inserted the screwdriver.
Pic 5: Another picture of the screwdriver in between the rubber seal and the valve cover. I gently tapped the top of the screwdriver with a rubber mallet to break the seal.
Yes, this was for a 2003 Civic, but it could benefit other TL drivers also.
