Vehicle: 2006 Acura Tl (5AT) (94k miles)

I've got a vibration problem that is noticed while in gear at a stop light. It's not major but I can definitely notice it. It gets worse when the AC cycles on and off. I feel it in the steering wheel and seat a little bit. The front mount was replaced a month ago and the vac line is connected. I'm leaning towards side mount on this one but I still need to pull the dust boot off and inspect it. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

FYI..I picked up a side mount for 40 bucks at my local Acura dealer and replaced it. Took about 20 minutes. Vibration problem solved.

 

Thanks for coming back and posting up your results. Very few people do.. .it keeps the thread useful for others if they have to troubleshoot. Many people just never bother to come back and post up.

And the TL is plagued with engine mounts failing ... many threads on it.

 

Hmm I think i got that vibration problem. Is there a DIY.....NM I'll search before someone says use the search function!!

 

baah....i was about to point to the vac lines/mounts...

either way if your side mount is bad it will never vibrate only at idle since it doesnt have a vac line....only the front and the rear have vac lines....so I think your side was going out as well...

i would get all the mounts checked....
