OBD scanning
Alright guys, I've got a CEL on my sister in law's 02 TL-S
I can't find the OBD scanner plug-in for the life of me on the car. Where is it? I've looked on both the driver's side and passenager side.
thanks!

oh and I did a search. Thank you very much. I am a regular on CRSX so I know how it goes.
anyone know what code P1750 is?
I got two codes
P0740
P1750
Nevermind, I'll just search.

It's between the seat heater switches behind the plastic panel.

I know that's the ODB port location on my 1999 TL.
But isn't there a different port location on the 2002-2003 TLs? I thought I read that once in this forum.

OK, I found mention of the other ODB port location in 2002-2003 TLs:
On the later model '02 and '03, the OBD2 connector has been relocated to underneath the steering column.

I remember being surprised by that.

OK - here they are:
P0740 = Problem in lockup control system
P1750 = Mechanical problem in hydraulic control system of A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves A & B, or problem in hydraulic control system
Are you experiencing transmission problems? Hopefully you're under warranty.

thank you for the look-up.
Well, the car's instrument panel has a flashing D5 w/the CEL and VSA lights. After reading the literature on the tranny issue, we'll be bringing in the car to acura and hopefully get the tranny serviced/replaced under warranty.
again thanks for the look-up. I'll shared my experience about this in the thread related the tranny recall
btw, the car has 78k. She picked up the car with 68k with no knowledge of its past. So we'll find out if this car has had its tranny replaced before she took ownership
