thats understandably an issue...finding people that will do it..i have 5% on my windows which i know most places wont do and if they do...it costs a lot more...and Acura did it for me on the low because i know one of the collision managers...i doubt ill ever want to remove it so i went for paint...but film is def smart if you think its possible you will remove it in the future...good luck with everything!!

Holy thread bump. No you won't I did it for sometime and I didn't need brighter bulbs, check to see if it's legal in your state before you do it, I only did 3 coats of VHT nightshades and it came out perfect, however, I no longer have tinted taillights, personal preference. If you do it though please for the love of God only do the red bits otherwise it looks like s***.

If you are concerned, however, you can buy some Red LED bulbs. but keep in mind that you may need to buy a resistor for each bulb.

**Will** need an Ohm resistor for each bulb.
