Backup light replacement

I'm trying to remove the bulb but not quite sure how. I remove the plastic cover (where the trunk light assembled attached to) then disconnect the wire and try to turn the bulb in either direction, but it won't move. Any idea?

They take a little effort. They'll come out just fine.

I used bent nose pliers to take those bulbs off.

It's not come straight out, need to turn first. A bit tough to get it moved.
