Seat heater on driver's side "Low" setting not working

Hi there, I've searched extensively through the forum and can't seem to find any previous posts on this particular problem. I've seen the DIY on how to fix the wiring if it shorts on the seat heater, but my High setting works fine.

I'm trying to figure out the source of the problem that causes only the Low setting to not work. The switch is lighting up for both Low and High settings and since the High setting works, I'm assuming the problem isn't a wiring short, nor a burnt fuse.

Any ideas on what may cause one setting to work and not the other, would be greatly appreciated! I like to do everything myself (or with my gear head dad's help) on my beloved 2001 CL Type-S and hope to not have to consult the dealer on this.

Thanks everyone!
~Christal

1. Key/ignition on in #1 position (dash lights on engine not running).

2. With the seat heater on low setting.

3. Check the blu/wht wire for a hot/power at the seat heater switch.

Hot at blu/wht wire: It will be one of the following A, B, or C.

A. Repair the break in the blu/wht wire. If no break in the blu/wht wire... see B or C.

B. Replace the seat heating element.

C. Repair the break in the heating element prior to the high side.

No power at the blu/wht wire: Replace the seat heater switch.

Thanks so much, I'm gonna go give this a try right now. It's the driver's side, BTW.
